What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a health practice that started in China around 3000 years ago. It involves inserting fine needles (around the width of two human hairs) into various acupuncture points on the body.
Acupuncture can be sought for any illness you would visit your GP for or any everyday symptom you had not thought could be solved.
So far I have had great results for patients wanting relief from tinnitus, jaw pain, insomnia, migraines, headaches, sciatica, anxiety and more! However patients can attend for a wide range of conditions.
Click here for the BAcC website for a list of conditions and research in acupuncture.
Treatments are individualised for each patient and look at adressing the root of your problem, not just the symptoms. As acupunctue uses an holistic approach, it could improve your overall wellbeing, not just your specific symptoms. Treatment may include acupuncture, cupping, gua sha if applicable to your complaint.
